Data show that people around the World spend an average of ๐ ๐ก๐จ๐ฎ๐ซ๐ฌ ๐๐ง๐ ๐๐ ๐ฆ๐ข๐ง๐ฎ๐ญ๐๐ฌ minutes per day on social media โณ
The same amount of time we usually spend for having a long walk, watching a film, cooking some delicious food, hanging out with friendsโฆ
Isnโt it incredible how many minutes of our lives are filled by our โsocial media lifeโ?
But, is this the same across the globe? ๐บ
The answer is no.
Findings reveal that there are big differences between countries;

โก 1st Nigeria ๐ฅ: average user session lasting 4 hours and 7 minutes daily.
โก 2nd Philippines ๐ฅ : 4 hours and 6 minutes per day.
โก 3rd India ๐ฅ: 2 hours and 36 minutes per day.
โก 4th America ๐บ๐ธ : 2 hours and 14 minutes per day.
โก 5th China ๐จ๐ณ : 1 hour and 57 minutes per day.
โก 6th UK ๐ฌ๐ง : 1 hour and 48 minutes per day.
โก 7th Germany ๐ฉ๐ช : 1 hour and 29 minutes per day.
Countries with elderly populations spend less time on social networks, which may be the reason why the average Japanese user only logs on to social networks for 51 minutes a day, ranking last.
