Digital Wellbeing & Overall Wellbeing

Today we're going to deepen how digital wellbeing is fully connected with our overall wellbeing ❤️‍🩹.
The World Health Organization (2023) states that "Health is a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity"🌍.
This means that all parts of our lives are connected and matter to be healthy: there's a holistic approach to wellbeing 🌐.

In the previous posts, we had the opportunity to analyze how excessive social media and internet use could cause poor physical and mental wellbeing 🛜 😢.
Today, we point out that also the opposite correlation is true: taking care of our lifestyle and our mental health could help to prevent excessive social media and internet use, and also build a better relationship with technology, limiting its risk of addiction, and reducing it if already in place 🧠🫀.
