Which countries spend the most time on Social Media?

Data show that people around the World spend an average of 𝟐 𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝟐𝟕 𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐮𝐭𝐞𝐬 minutes per day on social media ⏳
The same amount of time we usually spend for having a long walk, watching a film, cooking some delicious food, hanging out with friends…
Isn’t it incredible how many minutes of our lives are filled by our “social media life”? 
But, is this the same across the globe? 🗺
The answer is no.
Findings reveal that there are big differences between countries;
Let’s discover them together:

➡ 1st Nigeria 🥇: average user session lasting 4 hours and 7 minutes daily. 
➡ 2nd Philippines 🥈 : 4 hours and 6 minutes per day.
➡ 3rd India 🥉: 2 hours and 36 minutes per day.
➡ 4th America 🇺🇸 : 2 hours and 14 minutes per day.
➡ 5th China 🇨🇳 : 1 hour and 57 minutes per day.
➡ 6th UK 🇬🇧 : 1 hour and 48 minutes per day.
➡ 7th Germany 🇩🇪 : 1 hour and 29 minutes per day.

Countries with elderly populations spend less time on social networks, which may be the reason why the average Japanese user only logs on to social networks for 51 minutes a day, ranking last.
